We are commencing our preparations for the Taranaki Round the Mountain Relay in November and looking to recruit a group of athletes to represent BBI in this amazing challenge.

BBI students have completed the event for the past two years, the only intermediate team in an adult event. Our 11, 12 and 13 year olds have finished the 150km event in around 14 hours, and we are keen to break our own personal best this year.

This is the perfect opportunity for both regular and novice runners to run alongside each other in the same team, and for parents to push outside of their comfort zone and compete in the event with their own child.

If your child is interested in participating, information and entries are available from the front office. This year’s race takes place on 9th and 10th November.
