Support Programmes

 

 

Reading Support

This is a programme designed to improve reading fluency and comprehension through increased reading opportunities for students who are struggling.

Reading and Language Support

A team of teacher aides work with students who have learning needs in reading and language, both in class and withdrawal groups.

RTLB and GSE Programmes

The Ministry of Education funds both of the above support programmes. The Resource Teachers of Learning and Behaviour and the Group Special Education Service are available to support the students and teachers on request. Students are referred to these services when support for learning or behaviour is needed
