We have a strong emphasis on Inquiry Learning and where possible we believe in integrating these learning areas. Throughout the year we plan 6 units of inquiry collaboratively (with specialist teachers also) and reflect on these on an ongoing basis. These units link to our school mission, school goals, the NZ Curriculum and the programme framework of International Baccalaureate.

Key Competencies
The New Zealand Curriculum identifies five key competencies: thinking, using language, symbols, and texts, managing self, relating to others, participating and contributing.
Read more about these on the Ministry of Education website.
